Administrative Assistant - Part-time

The Havens at Princeton, a community of Navion Senior Living located in Princeton, WV, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join its team. Our Administrative Assistant Team Members are responsible for providing administrative support and service to Community residents, associates, family and the public with a target of a high degree of customer satisfaction under the direction of the Executive Director, Business Office Manager and/or Business Office staff. The Administrative Assistant will also provide safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services for our residents. Ability to communicate and work with all levels of Company associates effectively. Ability to recognize and communicate problems appropriately. Ability to maintain accurate records and provide information as requested and required. Ability to perform tasks in a neat, thorough, timely manner. Demonstrates knowledge and an understanding of Healthcare, Assisted Living and Retirement communities. Possess excellent interpersonal skills to relate to various groups and individuals. Maintains a professional demeanor with all Residents, families and friends, third party providers, professional referral sources and the general public in representing the Community. Ability to communicate proficiently in English, verbally and in writing. Ability to organize their time, follow-up with the ability to perform job tasks efficiently. Ensuring every resident outing is safe, enjoyable, and well-coordinated while maintaining the community's vehicle fleet in excellent condition. Requirements High School diploma required Associates Degree or related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families, staff members, visitors and vendors. Ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for seniors without posing a substantial safety or health threat to self or others. Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment. Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed. Must have a valid driver’s license and have and maintain a safe driving record.
