Financial Counseling Representative

Supporting patients through the financial aspects of healthcare, the full-time Financial Counseling Representative will provide exceptional financial counseling, assist with insurance verification, and discuss payment options while working remotely. Key responsibilities Provide financial counseling support by helping patients understand insurance benefits and out-of-pocket costs Verify insurance eligibility and explain benefits clearly to patients Assist patients with Medicaid and financial assistance applications while maintaining accurate documentation Required qualifications High School Diploma or GED Exceptional customer service experience Ability to explain financial and insurance concepts clearly Demonstrates compassion, empathy, and patience in patient interactions Professionalism in handling sensitive financial conversations
