Store Manager Candidate

Role Overview The Store Manager Candidate supports daily store operations, focusing on employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. This role involves assisting with recruiting, staging merchandise, managing inventory, ensuring product availability, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. The position also includes handling store finances, operating in the manager’s absence, and analyzing sales and expense data to identify business trends and opportunities. Key Responsibilities Assist in staffing, merchandising, inventory control, and store upkeep. Provide excellent customer service and uphold company policies. Participate in opening and closing store activities, cash handling, and security practices. Support financial integrity through cash management and expense oversight. Review operational data to identify trends and improve store performance. Complete documentation accurately and on time. Qualifications & Skills Strong reading, math, and cash handling skills. Knowledge of inventory, merchandising, and safety procedures. Effective communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities. Experience in retail preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required. Bilingual skills may be advantageous. Physical & Work Environment Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds. Occasional climbing and driving.
