What You’ll Be Doing Your responsibilities will include working and operating with a number of machines, such as: Press Brake Metal Rolling Tube Rolling Ironworker Saw Check work by using scales, squares, templates, or samples, for conformance to specific drawing tolerances. Set up tooling, load programs, and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment. Layout location of holes, cutouts, and bends, making allowances for welding and convenience in assembly if required. What You Bring to the Table Ability to weld and fabricate a variety of metal items using Mig and Tig welding. Knowledge on AWS procedures and positions. Experience operating saws, press brakes, tube/metal rollers. Proficiency as an ironworker. Strong attention to detail and adherence to safe welding/fabricating practices. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret most documents including bills of materials and drawings. Ability to interact effectively with co-workers, vendors, and customers. Ability to write operating instructions in the English language. Ability to follow written instructions and read blueprint specifications or equivalent.
