Fuze HR Solutions is actively hiring for a CNC Lathe Machinist Lead for an aerospace manufacturing and machining company.

As a CNC Lathe Machinist Lead, you will be expected to handle the following:

• CNC Operation & Setup: Set up and operate 2-axis and multi-axis CNC lathes with sub-spindles; perform basic programming and edits using MasterCAM.
• Production Leadership: Oversee and coordinate a small production team (1–3 employees) across two shifts, managing daily workflow and department schedules.
• Quality & Efficiency: Monitor operations to ensure parts meet quality, accuracy, and efficiency standards; perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools and recommend process improvements.
• Tooling & Fixturing: Plan and organize appropriate tooling and fixturing for work orders to support smooth production.
• Cross-Department Communication: Maintain strong communication with programming, tooling, scheduling, and management teams to align production goals.
• Administrative Oversight: Ensure accurate submission of labor tickets, time cards, and work order documentation; update setup sheets as needed.
• Workplace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of Machine Shop Lead experience
• 5+ years CNC Lathe machining experience
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and critical thinking
• Good work ethic and positive attitude, team player, leads by example
• Excellent attendance and time management
• Standing and sitting for extended periods of time in a warehouse environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with active listening. Must be fluent in English.
• High School Diploma or GED

Pay rate: $30-40/hr.
