Empire Electric Sales is seeking a motivated and relationship‑driven Outside Sales Representative to manage our established San Francisco to Salinas territory. This is an exciting opportunity to represent industry‑leading manufacturers while working with electrical distributors, contractors, end users, and consulting engineers throughout one of California’s most dynamic markets. We provide our sales team with the tools, support, and resources needed to develop business and build long‑term success. Responsibilities Develop new business opportunities by identifying leads, managing prospects, and acquiring new accounts. Maintain and grow relationships with existing electrical distributors, contractors, end users, and engineers. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to educate customers and create demand. Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve growth objectives and sales goals. Identify market opportunities and provide feedback to help expand our manufacturers’ presence. Provide exceptional customer support while building long‑term partnerships. Qualifications 5+ years of successful outside sales experience, preferably within the electrical industry. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field is a plus. Proven ability to develop and execute territory sales strategies. Strong presentation, negotiation, communication, and closing skills. Self‑motivated, organized, and able to work independently while managing a territory. Strong relationship‑building skills with customers and business partners.
