Bell-Textron Inc. is seeking a Gear, Cut & Grind technician to support our manufacturing operations at our Drive Systems Center in Grand Prairie, Texas. Work performed includes setting up and operating all types of gear manufacturing equipment including gear cutters, gear grinders, gear shavers, lapping machines, etc., to produce a wide variety of gears and splines including spiral bevel, helical and hypoid gears. Setups and work must be held to extremely close tolerances. The technician will advise and assist in development of new gears and gear cutting processes. They will test and check gears using gear testing and checking machines and equipment. They will set up and/or perform all grinding on case hardened surfaces. Tools and equipment used include all types of gear manufacturing, testing, and checking equipment, machinists' hand tools, and precision measuring instruments.

Qualifications include three years experience as a Gear Cutter and Grinder plus two years of related experience.
