Job Summary

We are seeking an Experienced Collections Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Fort Collins, CO. This role is ideal for a confident, persistent collections professional with strong hands-on experience making collection calls, negotiating payment arrangements, and securing payment commitments.

This is a collections-focused position in a professional business services environment where accuracy, follow-through, communication, and results matter. Candidates who enjoy clear goals, customer interaction, problem-solving, and working toward payment resolution will be well aligned with this opportunity. The position starts on a part-time schedule with potential for a longer-term opportunity based on business needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Make outbound collection calls and follow up on past-due accounts.
- Negotiate payment arrangements and obtain clear commitments to pay.
- Resolve payment delays, account disputes, and customer concerns professionally.
- Maintain accurate collection records and document all follow-up activity.
- Provide professional customer service while remaining persistent, organized, and results-focused.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $26.50 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: Part-time hours initially, with future hours to be discussed.
- Standard business schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, as applicable to assigned hours.
- Work location: On-site in Fort Collins, Colorado.
