Our organization is actively looking for a board eligible or board certified orthopedic joint surgeon to become a part of our clinical team in Jackson Heights, located in Queens, NY. We particularly encourage applications from candidates who are fluent in Spanish.

The surgical responsibilities will primarily take place at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills (LIJFH) , a community teaching hospital in Queens, NY with a capacity of 312 beds. This facility offers a range of inpatient medical and surgical services, intensive care, and specialized women's health care. LIJFH is recognized as a Level II Perinatal Center, serves as a 911 receiving site, and is certified as a heart station and a designated Stroke Center by the state of New York. Furthermore, our Orthopedic Department has received advanced certification in total joint replacement from the Joint Commission. Our facilities are equipped with cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment technologies, supported by an exceptional team of professionals.

Qualifications for Candidates:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Completion of an accredited residency in orthopedic surgery and a joint fellowship.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.

• Must hold or be eligible for a medical license in the State of New York.

• Fluency in Spanish is highly encouraged.

Compensation: The full-time clinical base salary at our organization ranges from $125,000 to $750,000. This range is influenced by various factors, including physician specialty, experience level, quality of care, academic achievements, patient satisfaction, and productivity. The stated compensation range is a good faith estimate of potential base salary at the time of this job posting and may be subject to change.
