Description

• Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions that concentrate on elements of communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Partner with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and families to design integrated care strategies.
• Provide education for patients and families to support progress beyond the clinical settings.
• Engage in inpatient speech therapy when necessary, ensuring seamless care throughout the treatment continuum.
• Document patient interactions accurately and promptly while adhering to state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Commit to ongoing professional development through continuing education and collaboration with peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not currently ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• BLS certification required within the first month of employment.
