Roofing Sales Representative

We are in need of a Roofing Sales Representative in Tavares, FL who is driven to build relationships with customers, drive sales, provide estimates, and oversee roof and floor truss projects alongside builders and contractors. Ideal candidates will possess knowledge of the construction industry, the ability to read blueprints, and excellent communication skills. Previous experience with MiTek or Alpine software is a plus.The Roofing Sales Representative will focus on selling roof and floor truss systems to contractors, builders, developers, and construction firms. This position requires a blend of technical construction expertise, sales acumen, estimating abilities, customer relationship management, and project coordination.Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish and cultivate relationships with builders, contractors, framers, and developersGenerate leads through proactive outreach, networking, and referralsProvide truss quotes, bids, and material estimatesInterpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and construction documentsCollaborate with design engineers and production teams on truss layouts and specificationsFollow up on bids and engage in price/contract negotiationsManage customer accounts to ensure timely delivery and satisfactionMonitor project schedules and address job site issues proactivelyStay abreast of building codes, lumber costs, and industry trendsRequired QualificationsPrevious experience in construction sales, building materials, lumber, or truss sales is preferredFamiliarity with roof truss systems, floor systems, and framing techniquesProficiency in blueprint reading and construction plansStrong communication and negotiation skillsCompetency in estimating or design software such as:o MiTeko AlpineValid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites/customers #J-18808-Ljbffr
