Position Job Category: Nursing Support Supervisor: Rene Paluba Job Details Job Requisition: NURSI001291 Employment Type: Full-time Shift: Days Hours Per Week: 32 hours/week Hiring Range: $18.74–$25.07 per hour Location: Amsterdam, NY 12010, USA Responsibilities Assists with procedures ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN). Assists patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport. Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Assists with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly, ensures resident safety by identifying hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective action as appropriate. Education High School Diploma/GED required, or minimum of three (3) years’ experience required. Required Credentials BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Nurse Aide credentialed from the New York Department of Health – Nurse Aide Registry obtained within 90 days of hire. Required Skills and Attributes Ability to organize and establish day-to-day priorities while using critical thinking skills in all aspects of the job.
