Account Director – Business Development (Direct Hire) - Atlanta Metropolitan Area A rapidly growing national consulting firm is seeking an Account Director to drive business development and revenue growth within an assigned territory. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain referral partnerships with CPAs, business owners, real estate investors, and other professional contacts. Build trusted advisor relationships that generate repeat business and long-term referrals. Meet directly with business owners, CFOs, and executive leadership teams to identify opportunities and present solutions. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and relationship development through closing. Convert warm leads while also generating new opportunities through networking, industry events, and conferences. Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline activity within CRM systems. Collaborate with internal technical and leadership teams to deliver exceptional client experiences. Consistently achieve and exceed sales goals and performance metrics. Qualifications 3+ years of outside sales, business development, or consultative B2B sales experience. Proven ability to prospect, develop relationships, and close new business. Experience selling to business owners, executives, or C-level decision-makers preferred. Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated, coachable, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. CRM experience preferred (Salesforce experience is a plus). CPA background or experience within tax, accounting, financial services, or professional services industries is highly desirable.
