About the role The Assistant Superintendent will support the successful execution of construction projects in the property industry, with a focus on life sciences, healthcare, public works, and education. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively coordinate on‑site activities to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Responsibilities Oversee daily on‑site operations to ensure construction projects progress as planned. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to maintain project timelines. Monitor job site safety to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company protocols. Assist in resolving on‑site issues and provide solutions to keep projects on track. Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications. Maintain accurate project documentation and reports for internal and client review. Communicate project updates and challenges to stakeholders effectively. Support the Superintendent in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Qualifications Experience in construction, particularly in life sciences, healthcare, public works, or education projects. Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage on‑site operations effectively. Knowledge of construction safety protocols and compliance requirements. Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with diverse teams. Problem‑solving skills to address challenges and ensure timely project delivery.
