PsychologistThe Psychologist is responsible for providing a range of clinical duties and psychology services, serving as the program expert on therapeutic interventions. The Psychologist's primary areas of responsibility include the following:Providing expertise in overseeing clinical interventions that reflect best therapeutic practicesCollaborate with interdisciplinary team to monitor and support patient careMonitor patient progress through self-report measures and other monitored outcomes to facilitate ongoing treatment planningAssist with milieu managementLead and direct the evidence-based case conceptualization and associated treatment interventions Be able to understand, interpret, implement, and provide direction on measures to clarify diagnosis and prioritize symptomsProvide evidence-based symptom/behavior conceptualizationIdentify, model, and supervise relevant empirically based treatment interventions.Evaluate evidence-based interventions and provide recommendations and rationale for interventions to treatment stakeholders (e.g., staff, healthcare professionals, leadership, patients, and families.Complete and monitor required medical record documentation in accurate and timely manner, including documentation auditsProvide training, consultation, and supervision to staff responsible for direct care of clientsProvide high quality clinical supervision to all clinical patient-facing staff in accordance with supervision standard work (including therapists, behavioral specialists, and students)In collaboration with service line leader and site-specific leadership, create and provide training to all staff to ensure most up-to-date interventions are providedSupport protocol fidelity through ongoing monitoringMonitor quality and effectiveness of staff, programs, and referral servicesPropose departmental policies and procedures to direct supervisor and service line leadersAttend and support debriefsDemonstrate understanding and support of regulatory agency compliance regulationsFacilitate development of healthy and safe therapeutic milieuProvide support for milieu management by supporting behavioral management and interventionWork with program leadership to ensure policies and procedures are clear and applied consistentlySupport staff by contributing to and facilitating a culture of mental well-being and a healthy work environment including growth mindset and positive problem solving.Model professionalism and ethical practice in accordance with professional psychological standards.Provide professional leadership concerning clinical assessment, treatment, management issues, and provide consultation/supervision to direct service staff as part of daily interdisciplinary services.Provide direct care as appropriate consistent with professional psychological standardsCollaborate with interdisciplinary team to support direct interventions, including individual, group, and family sessionsProvide and model direct care interventions (e.g., motivational interviewing) with patients and families.Engage in clinical assessment to clarify diagnosis and enhance treatment planningLead and model complex case conceptualization and rationale for treatment interventions.Support complex discharge planning by engaging supports and community resources as needed.Engage in program development and clinical interventions that aligns with best practices and empirically supported treatmentsStay up to date on latest peer-reviewed empirical research relevant to the programCollaborate with system leaders to continually enhance treatment protocols and offeringsCollaborate with leaders of other disciplines to ensure appropriate and consistent treatment practicesMonitor program changes with outcome data to ensure high quality care.Participate in Hospital committees to promote positive problem-solving and improve services.Represent Rogers Behavioral Health as thought leader in the academic and community spacesEngage in activities that push Rogers to the forefront on thought leadership, which may include (but not limited to): Interdepartmental presentationsCommunity presentationsAcademic conference attendance and presentationsResearch participation, publication, and disseminationMembership in nationally recognized professional groupsThis position requires the employee to be available for on-call duty as part of their regular job responsibilities. The employee must be prepared to respond to urgent issues and emergencies outside of regular working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Requires the ability to travel and provide on-site services across multiple locations, demonstrating flexibility to meet the needs of diverse patient populations.Other duties as assignedAdditional Job Description:Education/Training Requirements:PhD or PsyD degree in licensed psychologist eligible fieldMinimum of two (2) years' experience, licensed psychologist able to practice in state the residential facility is located and in good standing with the respective licensing board.American Heart Association CPR certification within thirty (30) days of hire. Bi-annual re-certification is required.Training in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) within sixty (60) days of hire/transfer. Annual re-certification is required.Excellent communication skills, customer focus, proficiency, leadership ability, and professional integrity.Compliance with RCC and CBRF employee requirementsElectronic medical record software experience.Ability to work quickly and effectively in a fast-paced detail-oriented environment while adhering to deadlines.
