STATUS Full Time LOCATION Unity Hospital DEPARTMENT Emergency Department SCHEDULE Nights, 7:00pm - 7:00am; 12 shifts per month with typically every third weekend coverage Highlights/Benefits Competitive Compensation: Base salary starting at $120,000, with experienced candidates eligible to earn up to $156,000, plus a 15% night shift premium. Interaction and communication requires expressed empathy, understanding, problem-solving, education, information gathering, process influencing and counseling. Medication & Orders: Prescribes drugs, devices and immunizing agents according to policy and practice agreement. Collaboration: Performs therapeutic and corrective measures within area of expertise in collaboration with other health team members. EDUCATION MS: Nursing (Required) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Moderate - Clinical - Moderate clinical roles are patient facing roles that require continual movement, including standing, walking, and lifting 20–50 lbs., along with pushing and pulling medical equipment and assisting with patient positioning. Employees perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements.
