AI/ML Principal Platform Engineer

This is a highly visible role focused on designing and operationalizing a scalable AI platform, establishing governance and deployment standards, and partnering with business and technology leaders to define the future of AI within the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement enterprise AI/ML platforms in Azure
• Build and optimize MLOps processes for model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
• Create governance, security, and compliance frameworks for AI solutions
• Partner with data scientists, engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to scale AI adoption
• Define future-state architecture for emerging AI technologies, including agentic AI

Required Experience

• Experience in AI/ML platform engineering, MLOps, cloud architecture, or DevOps
• Experience building and scaling enterprise AI or machine learning platforms
• Strong Azure experience, including Azure AI and machine learning services
• Kubernetes and containerization expertise
• CI/CD, Git, infrastructure automation, and DevOps best practices
• Ability to work in a hybrid/onsite work schedule (Milwaukee, Wisconsin)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $72.00/hr.
