Summary: The Registered Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act. Assists the doctor in procedures Operated x-ray equipment and takes x-rays Prophy teeth Instructs patients on oral hygiene Chart and treatment plan with doctorSetup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment Take IO's Charting Sealants, if applicable Requirements Education and/or Experience: Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience , preferred Bilingual in Spanish , preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: California Registered Dental Assistant License X-Ray Certification Coronal Polish Certification required Current BLS certification Sealant Certification , preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
