IT Project Manager

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is part of a Global Risk Technology team, focusing on managing delivery efforts within the Trade Surveillance space. The successful candidate will be responsible for the detailed planning of both work and funding across the portfolio, as well as developing and providing regular reporting to senior management in Technology, Compliance, and Front Line teams.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and report on project status, producing monthly project decks, roadmaps, and biweekly status reports
• Manage projects within an internal project management tool
• Oversee the intake, prioritization, and scheduling of new and modified work against existing funding
• Arrange for new funding, track all financials, and coordinate annual initiative planning
• Coordinate PI planning, including scheduling work, resources, and creation of epics
• Create and track milestones, reporting deviations, risks, and issues from the plan
• Manage, track, and report on service providers and charges, resolving any variances
• Understand and provide a roadmap for the adoption of enterprise and team standards
• Work with scrum masters to ensure standards are adopted and enforced
• Monitor Jira for data quality issues and coordinate the alignment of activity categories

Requirements:

• Prior experience with a Surveillance Technology Project Management team
• Experience presenting project status to senior technology managers and compliance executives
• Experience with project management in both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies
• Knowledge of the Trade Surveillance and compliance space
• Experience with audit and governance related work efforts
• Experience with Actimize and Informatica tools
• Proficiency in creating and managing complex projects in Microsoft Project or a similar tool
• Experience using Jira to manage and report on Scrum and Kanban projects across multiple teams
• Experience with SQL and data analysis
• Experience with our client's internal systems and processes around audit issues tracking
• Detail-oriented, self-organizing, and able to communicate clearly and concisely

Pay range: $55.15 - $63.15 per hour
