Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Med Surg for a travel assignment in Alton, IL. This role requires a dedicated and skilled nurse to deliver care in an acute setting, utilizing EPIC charting systems. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide dedicated nursing care to a range of patients including those with sepsis, CHF, stroke, wounds, and more
• Work within a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-6, based on acuity
• Collaborate with CNAs and patient care techs to ensure a high standard of patient care
• Participate in unit-specific orientation and ongoing teamwork with your preceptor
• Utilize EPIC for effective and accurate documentation

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Active IL RN license or in the process of applying
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Experience with NG tubes, drains, feeding tubes, and tube feedings
• Ability to assess patient conditions and develop appropriate care plans
