Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
- Promote safety by being alerted to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
- Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
- Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
- Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
- This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to conduct vehicle patrols and be able to sit in a vehicle for long hours.
- You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
Requirements
- One Year of Security Experience.
- Must have an Active NYS Guard Card.
- Valid Driver license and previous driving experience (driving position).
- Must successfully complete a background check and additional hospital hiring requirements.
Certification Requirements
- Unarmed Security License
