Physician - OB/GYN

Our client in Alabama seeks an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 90-day assignment. This role involves managing a schedule that includes one weekend (Friday 7am - Monday 7am) per month, with a minimum of three consecutive days of coverage, and up to ten days of availability monthly. Responsibilities include 24-hour call with up to six hours of daily facility rounding, managing a variety of obstetric and gynecological cases, performing deliveries, and accepting attached and ER patients, including underserved individuals. Responsibilities and Duties Perform amniocentesis. Conduct routine vaginal and low forceps deliveries. Make decisions for and perform C-sections, including complicated deliveries. Round on patients daily, accepting attached and ER patients, including underserved individuals. Manage GYN emergencies during ER call. Provide care for low risk and high risk pregnancies. Perform FHR interpretation, including NST/CST/FSE. Execute and interpret OB ultrasounds for Level I/Screening (viability) and Level II/Targeted (anatomic). Robotic GYN surgery experience is preferred.
