Key Highlights Weekly pay range: $2,106–$2,237 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift, 3 × 12-hour shifts Start date: 10/12/2026 Work setting: Emergency Department in a short-term acute care hospital Responsibilities Provide nursing care, including triage, treatment, and discharge planning for ED patients from newborns to geriatrics Complete patient orders promptly and document legibly and accurately Administer medications, perform intravenous therapy, manage indwelling catheters and drains, and operate associated medical equipment Interpret ECG rhythms and manage care during life-threatening emergencies; participate in Code Blue, Code Stroke, sepsis responses, and trauma activations Deliver patient and family education on medications and discharge instructions; ensure teaching is included in discharge planning Adhere to established policies, maintain patient safety, and follow the chain of command Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California) Education: Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred Experience: At least two years of recent nursing experience; at least one year in acute care Certifications: Current BLS; ACLS; PALS; TNCC required within 6 months of hire or transfer; NIHSS; EPIC experience Ability to work in an Emergency Department setting and to perform triage and rapid assessment in high-stress situations Benefits and Support Guaranteed hours Competitive weekly pay 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support Fast credentialing Extension opportunities Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
