Details High acuity Med Surg/Respiratory Care Unit within a hospital setting 20-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:5, sometimes 1:6 Common patient diagnoses include PNA, COPD exacerbation, GI bleed, osteomyelitis, diabetic foot infections, hepatic encephalopathy, renal failure, bowel obstruction, end of life, and wounds 12-hour night shift schedule, 7p-7a May be requested to float to Concord Hospital-Laconia or Concord Hospital-Franklin No on-call requirements Requirements Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of consideration, temporary licenses not accepted 2 years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience required Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS prior to start Dysrhythmia exam required during onboarding with a preferred score of 80% Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required 3 professional references required once committed, including 2 from leadership Driver's license with address matching demographics required Additional Information Position includes holiday coverage Weekly orientation provided First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a local rate Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service RTO must be submitted at time of consideration American Traveler Job ID P-746145.
