Quality Systems Specialist

Role Description - The Quality Systems Administrator is a full-time, salaried exempt, on-site role based in Hanahan, SC . This position is responsible for maintaining and improving quality management systems, including document control, quality records, and system configuration. Day-to-day tasks include administering quality-related tasks, updating and organizing procedures and work instructions, supporting internal and external ISO audits, and monitoring compliance with quality standards and policies. The role also involves collaborating with Production, Engineering, New Product Development and Management to resolve quality issues, tracking corrective and preventive actions, and generating reports and metrics that support continuous improvement. The Quality Systems Administrator will help ensure that quality processes are consistently applied and aligned with industry and customer requirements. Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong Document Management skills, including organizing, updating, and controlling quality documents and records. Candidates should possess System Administration skills for quality-related software, databases, and electronic document control systems. Candidates should possess Quality Control skills for monitoring processes, reviewing inspection data, and supporting non-conformance management. Candidates should possess Quality Assurance skills for supporting audits, ensuring compliance with standards, and maintaining procedures. Candidates should possess Quality Management skills for supporting continuous improvement initiatives and aligning processes with company quality objectives. Relevant qualifications include experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, familiarity with ISO or similar quality standards, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar tools, effective communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work accurately in a detail-oriented role. Ability to travel domestically, or fly to customer and Olympic warehouse locations required as needed. An associate or bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred. Familiarity or experience in working with or creating PPAP documentation a plus. Olympic Foundry offers an excellent benefits package.
