Dermatology Health & Science Sales Specialist - VIT San Diego, CA

For our client, we are seeking a Dermatology Health & Science Sales Specialist - VIT to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This remote sales role will focus on driving territory performance within dermatology by building trusted relationships with healthcare providers and key office stakeholders. You will use clinical expertise, data-driven prioritization, and hybrid engagement methods to expand demand and support access for specialty therapies. The position partners closely with cross-functional teams to support launch execution, address customer needs, and inform broader brand strategy.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $108,600 – $250,700 annually

Responsibilities

Execute territory and account strategies to drive demand and meet sales goals

Build trusted relationships with dermatologists and office stakeholders through impactful engagements

Deliver compelling clinical and product messaging to influence prescribing behavior

Navigate formulary access and reimbursement pathways to enhance patient access

Leverage data and insights to prioritize accounts and identify growth opportunities

Collaborate with cross-functional partners to address customer needs

Support product launches and provide field insights for brand strategy

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (8+ years with an associate's degree or 10+ years with a high school diploma)

Minimum 3 years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales or marketing

Experience with aligned therapeutic healthcare provider roles

Preferred 3–5 years in specialty sales, particularly in dermatology or related fields

Strong understanding of complex disease states and specialty reimbursement

Experience engaging key opinion leaders and high-influence accounts

Proficient in digital engagement tools and hybrid selling models
