Assess patient status, interpret vital signs, recognize deterioration, and initiate appropriate interventions. Administer medications and therapies per physician orders; manage IV lines and other therapies as indicated. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and adjust care plans; communicate changes to the patient, family, and supervising clinicians. Document care activities accurately in the electronic medical record; ensure timely updates to progress notes and care plans. Educate patients and families about diagnoses, procedures, and symptom management; assist with discharge planning and goals-of-care discussions.
