Equipment Technician - Neonatal ICU (NICU) - PT Nights with Benefits (11pm-7:30am)

Responsibilities Maintains equipment, including assembly, cleaning, and inventory. Focus on mechanical ventilators and coordinates usage and record keeping of patient oxygen. Cleans and assembles mechanical ventilators and prepares them for calibration. Cleans, assembles and checks all minor therapeutic and diagnostic equipment and makes them available for use. Performs inventory of disposable supplies, orders necessary supplies from storeroom, and coordinates the stocking of disposable respiratory therapy supplies. Refers inventory of non‑storeroom supplies to Supervisor. Maintains and cleans all equipment used for deliveries and restocks in compliance with infection control standards and stores equipment safely. Maintains inventory of essential supplies. Maintains a clean supply storage area according to New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services regulations. Keeps Manager/Supervisor informed of equipment/supply needs. Adheres to the standards identified in the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies. Qualifications High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
