Housing Specialist - Veteran and Family Services (SSVF) Full Time Professional 4964 GLENWAY AVENUE, Cincinnati, OH, US 4 days ago Requisition ID: 1529 Salary Range: $19.00 To $21.00 Hourly Position Summary Responsible for assisting tenants with their housing needs in order to become self-sufficient. Position Description Maintain regular contact with tenants to monitor housing needs and barriers Complete housing search with potential tenant to quickly and efficiently obtain housing in the community Assist with lease signings Educate and advocate for tenants in regards to Fair Housing Laws and Tenant Rights and Responsibilities Document timely and accurately all activities as defined by funder and credentialing entity Complete initial and periodic inspections of housing units Input data into all applicable electronic systems Operate personal computer to input and retrieve data and produce reports and correspondence Perform problem solving and conflict management as needed Other duties as assigned Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent organizational and time management skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to problem solve and multi-task Handle sensitive contacts with clients Ability to work in a team setting Be adaptive, flexible and responsive to needs of others Recognize unusual or threatening conditions and take appropriate action Adequate computer skills and ability to learn new software Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience 3-5 years’ experience in a related area Valid driver’s license and auto insurance Essential Functions/Physical Demands Positional: Driving in accordance with job duties assigned.
