Business Development Manager

Zan Services is a Kolkata technology company based in Salt Lake Sector V. We build websites, mobile apps and custom software, and run digital marketing (SEO, ads, social media) for businesses in India and abroad. The Role You will own every new client from the first call to the signed deal. You will understand what the client needs, turn it into a clear scope with our developers, write the proposal, negotiate and close. Once the client pays the advance, you hand the project to our delivery team with a full written brief. What you will do Take leads from our front office team and run discovery calls and client meetings (online and in person) Understand the client's business and turn it into a project: website, app, software or marketing Explain technical options in plain language (WordPress vs Shopify vs custom, Flutter vs native apps, hosting, APIs, payment gateways) Work with our developers to estimate scope, timeline and cost Write proposals and scope documents (SOW) and walk clients through them Negotiate, close deals and collect the advance payment Hand every closed project to delivery with a written brief Follow up every lead and keep the sales pipeline updated Upsell maintenance, hosting and marketing retainers to existing clients What you need 2 to 5 years selling website, app, software or digital marketing services Enough technical understanding to run a requirement call without a developer present Proposals you have written and deals you have closed yourself, and be ready to discuss them Clear spoken and written English; Hindi and Bengali are a plus Comfort with monthly targets and incentive-based pay Good to have Experience with international clients (US, UK, Middle East) Experience on Upwork, Freelancer or other bidding platforms A technical degree (B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc IT), though it is not mandatory What you get Fixed salary plus uncapped incentives on every deal you close Direct work with leadership and full ownership of the sales function Room to grow into heading sales as the team grows #J-18808-Ljbffr
