Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 8-Hour Shift Between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM | Monday – Friday | 5×8 Hours | 40 Hours/Week

Pay Rate: $38 - $42/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced LVN/LPN to provide nursing care, phlebotomy, IV therapy, and clinical support in an outpatient clinic setting.

Required Qualifications

• Active California LVN/LPN license required at the time of submission.

• Minimum 2 years of outpatient setting experience.

• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC only.

• IV and blood withdrawal experience/certification.

• Strong phlebotomy and IV start skills required.

• Flu vaccination required; no declinations or exemptions accepted.

• No pending license accepted.

• Strong outpatient clinical and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in an outpatient clinic setting.

• Perform patient assessments and monitor patient conditions.

• Perform phlebotomy and blood withdrawal procedures safely and accurately.

• Initiate and maintain IV access and administer treatments as ordered.

• Monitor patients during and after procedures and report changes in condition.

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.

• Educate patients regarding medications, treatments, procedures, and follow-up care.

• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.

• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and other healthcare team members.

• Maintain infection-control, medication-safety, and patient-safety standards.

• Float to other appropriate clinical areas as required.

• Provide coverage at the Urgent Care location when needed, including potentially one weekend per month.

• Follow facility policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
