Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a focus on Hydraulic Filtration to join our team in Quakertown, PA. This role involves managing and creating drawings and models, designing custom tooling, and working closely with key customers on engineering changes. The successful candidate will also support customer service and sales teams, perform inspections, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

• Manage and create drawings and models for client products.
• Design custom tooling, modifications, and machinery.
• Collaborate with key customers on engineering changes and create client-specific drawings for new and updated products.
• Provide technical support for customer service and regional sales teams on hydraulic applications.
• Perform First Article inspections on new products.
• Enter new item loads along with 2D and 3D CAD drawings.
• Develop internal engineering processes and procedures in the ERP D365 system.
• Conduct testing and failure analysis of parts and prepare reports in collaboration with the quality team.
• Organize and maintain all engineering resources in digital and hardcopy formats.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering, quality, and manufacturing areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or military equivalent.
• Experience in the hydraulics industry is a plus.
• D365 experience is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills in person, in writing, and by telephone with customers and company personnel.
