Sample Processing Associate I - 3rd Shift

Abbott seeks a Sample Processing Associate I for third-shift laboratory operations in Madison. The role involves specimen accessioning, processing, automation support, and lab maintenance while following quality and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform specimen accessioning, processing, and sample racking on automation equipment
- Maintain lab cleanliness and equipment, handle biohazard materials following safety protocols
- Document issues and resolutions per Good Documentation Practices
- Support quality improvements, audits, and mandatory training completion
- Work flexible hours including nights and overtime as operational needs require
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Age 18 or older
- Computer proficiency including Internet, email, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work standing/seated for extended periods
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Compensation: $14.85–$29.65/hour
