Sample Processing Associate I - 3rd Shift

Abbott seeks a Sample Processing Associate I for third-shift lab operations at its Madison facility. The role involves specimen accessioning, processing, automation support, sample racking, and laboratory maintenance while adhering to quality and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform specimen accessioning, processing, and sample racking operations
- Operate and support laboratory automation systems and equipment
- Execute lab maintenance and cleaning tasks to support department operations
- Document problems and resolutions following Good Documentation Practices
- Handle specimens with appropriate safety precautions and regulatory compliance
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with computers, email, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform repetitive motions
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Associate or bachelor's degree in life or physical sciences (preferred)
- Laboratory experience with sample handling and protocol compliance (preferred)
Compensation: $14.85–$29.65/hour
