Sample Processing Associate - 3rd Shift

Abbott seeks a Clinical Lab Associate I for specimen processing operations on the third shift (Tuesday-Friday, 10pm-7:30am) at their Madison diagnostics facility. The role involves accessioning, processing, automation support, sample racking, and lab maintenance while following quality and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform specimen accessioning, processing, and sample racking operations
- Operate laboratory automation equipment and support process line activities
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and complete routine maintenance tasks
- Document problems and resolutions following Good Documentation Practices
- Support quality improvement initiatives and participate in departmental audits
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 18 years of age or older
- Computer proficiency including email and Microsoft Office
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and tolerate prolonged standing
- Ability to handle biological specimens and hazardous materials safely
Compensation: $14.85–$29.65/hour
