Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Maintenance Superintendent role based in Copper Mine, MO. The Maintenance Superintendent oversees day‑to‑day maintenance activities for plant and mine equipment, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost‑effective operation of all assets. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling maintenance work, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, and supervising maintenance teams and contractors. The role also involves monitoring equipment performance, identifying recurring issues, and implementing improvements to reduce downtime and extend asset life. The Maintenance Superintendent collaborates closely with operations, engineering, and safety teams, manages maintenance budgets and spare parts, and ensures compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, performance management, and workforce planning. Proficiency in maintenance management, including planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance activities. Experience in plant maintenance and maintenance & repair of heavy equipment, fixed plant, and related infrastructure. Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and optimize preventive maintenance programs. Relevant technical qualification or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience in mining, heavy industry, or large‑scale process plants, with a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance. Ability to interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance documentation, and to use CMMS or similar systems. Strong problem‑solving, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement skills, with a data‑driven approach.
