Your role as a Yard Operator Key responsibilities: Maneuver tractor trailers for loading and unloading products while ensuring safety and security of the yard and dock area. Operate safely and timely, complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Maintain and maneuver equipment on the yard prior to dispatch. Ensure safe movement of equipment around yard and warehouse. Maintain equipment on site. Drop and hook tractor to trailer. Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and submit reports indicating truck condition. Proper, complete, and safe execution of logistics and associated activities on site. Verify unit initials and numbers accurately. Maintain a safe pace while spotting and pulling trailers/containers from dock doors. Maintain integrity of trailers and loads, ensuring cold chain temperature adherence. Ensure all loads are guarded and sealed. Handle quality management system requirements during transport and storage activities. Safety Requirements This position is considered a Safety Sensitive position. Educational Requirements High School Degree. Experience Requirements Ability to use computer for yard tracking. 2+ years of work experience in related fields. CDL and commercial driving experience preferred. Commercial Driving: 1 year (Preferred). Driving: 1 year (Preferred). Benefits Career pathway – potential to grow with the company. Salary Range: $24.70 + $1.15 grave differential. Shift: Rotating 12-hour shift.
