Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited program. Years and Type of Required Experience:
Required: Five years of experience working with diagnostic related groups (DRG's) and/or reimbursement and AR valuation/revenue recognition methodologies.
Demonstrated advanced utilization of Excel, Tableau, and/or other business intelligence analytical software.
Working knowledge of the policies, rules, regulations, procedures, methods and practices of federal, state and third party reimbursement agencies as they relate to the reimbursement of costs and expenditures; Working knowledge of the financial and statistical reporting requirements of federal, state and third party reimbursement agencies; Working knowledge of the principles and practices of cost accounting as it applies to hospital financial management; Working knowledge of hospital and practice accounting and billing procedures; familiarity with the techniques of electronic data processing and the capabilities of data processing equipment Preferred : Knowledge and experience with Epic, Stratajazz, Cognos, SQL, Python. Two (2) years of supervisory experience. Experience working in a large teaching hospital with transplants. #IND123
- The Manager Reimbursement provides financial leadership and recommendations to support Client with cost reports and maximizing reimbursements through accurate reporting for the health system.
- This includes reporting and analysis needs, developing and implementing financial policy/controls, reviewing and monitoring of rate and charge structures, and establishing and maintaining rules, regulations, policies and procedures for government and third-party payers.
- The Reimbursement Manager will work closely with Director of Revenue and Reimbursement and Manager Revenue and Reimbursement to prepare, develop,analyze, compile, and present cost reports to senior leadership and explain variances and identify trends.
- Collaborates with senior leadership, Finance team, and Revenue Cycle team to monitor, audit and develop recommendations and strategic plans to identify opportunities to improve and maximize revenue and reimbursement efficiencies, and facilitate project leadership, process improvement, and technology enhancements.
