Job Description

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and design personalized therapy programs that support their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Exercises: Leverage best practices to enhance patients' physical abilities, cognitive functions, and activities of daily living
• Engage in Collaborative Care: Work alongside other healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, speech therapists, and medical staff, to provide comprehensive care
• Guide Patients and Families: Teach patients and their loved ones about therapy techniques to encourage ongoing healing at home
• Track and Document Progress: Assess clinical progress and adjust therapy plans to best support patient journeys

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized and accredited institution
• Encouragement for ongoing education or specialized training

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
