Job Title: Credit & Collections Clerk
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Location: Knoxville, TN

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Credit & Collections Clerk to join our team. This position plays a key role in maintaining healthy client relationships while ensuring accounts are properly managed and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

Make outbound phone calls to clients regarding outstanding balances.
Assist clients with questions and concerns about their accounts.
Perform collections in a professional and courteous manner.
Maintain accurate and organized records of communications and payments.
Work closely with internal staff to resolve billing discrepancies.
Provide exceptional customer service to strengthen client trust and retention.

Qualifications

Previous experience in credit, collections, or customer service preferred.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to remain professional and empathetic during sensitive conversations.
Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office and data entry proficiency.
Ability to handle high volume of calls dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
High attention to detail and ability to stay organized.
