P&ID Quality & Knowledge Lead

We are looking for a 20+ year senior-level professional who can operate as a P&ID technical authority.
Someone who can interpret engineering intent, resolve conflicting inputs, and drive P&IDs to a high-quality, buildable state.
This person will work under our P&ID Quality Lead and support multipleconcurrent projects, primarily through markup/review (not full-time CAD execution).
- Strong, hands-on experience developing and improving P&IDs
- Deep understanding across process, piping, and instrumentation
- Ability to take incomplete or conflicting comments and make sound engineering decisions independently
- Proven ability to clean up and finalize documents, not just review them
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and improving team capability
- Ex-Operations / Commissioning + P&ID heavy
- CAD-only designers or draftsmen
- Passive reviewers who wait for direction
- Single-discipline specialists without system-level understanding
