Technology Development Manager

Schneller is seeking a Technology Development Manager to lead technology development initiatives and help advance our manufacturing capabilities within the aviation industry.

What You'll Do

Lead and develop a technical team while providing hands-on engineering leadership.
Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and processes.
Lead projects from concept and experimentation through scale-up and production implementation.
Troubleshoot complex manufacturing, equipment, process, and product issues.
Use data and experimentation to improve process capability, quality, safety, and productivity.
Partner with R&D, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and other teams to drive technology and process improvements.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a related technical field.
Progressive experience in manufacturing, engineering, technology development, or process development.
Experience leading technical projects and people; supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
Strong hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills involving manufacturing equipment and processes.
Experience with industrial automation and process control technologies is preferred, including PLC-based control systems, HMI/SCADA interfaces, industrial sensors and instrumentation, and platforms such as Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation, FactoryTalk, and Inductive Automation Ignition.
Strong analytical skills with experience using data to understand systems and improve processes.
A self-starter who enjoys learning new technologies, taking ownership, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and collaborate across functions.
To conform with US export regulations and ITAR 120.15 and EAR Part 772, incumbents for this role must be eligible for any required authorizations from the US government.
