Job Summary and Responsibilities As a OB Hospitalist Physician, you will join a thriving multi-specialty group in the Sacramento, CA area. You will play a critical role in providing exceptional obstetric care within a dynamic hospital setting in the Sacramento region. In this role you will cover the OB emergency department, covering patients in labor & delivery, providing emergency gynecological consults, and be available for surgical assist needs ensuring seamless medical support for critical procedures. This role involves active participation in a growing hospitalist program, collaborating with a large network of specialists to ensure continuous, high-quality patient care. Opportunity Highlights: Incoming physicians would be based out of Methodist Hospital of Sacramento Hospital does approximately 1800 births/year 24 hour back-up Ob on-call. Full time would be twelve 12 hour shifts/month and shifts can be done as 24 hour shifts. Additional compensation provided for doing additional shifts. Level II nursery with support from the Level lll NICU at Mercy San Juan Medical Center Generous compensation and benefits Sign on bonus and moving bonus available for full time applicants Employer provided tail insurance.
