CNAs may work up to two different shifts within a two-week period.Weekends: Every other weekend off. Holidays: Must be available to work major holidays as assigned.Flexibility is essential for this assignment. Candidates must be comfortable with varying shift assignments and working within a secure correctional healthcare environment.About The AssignmentThis Commonwealth of Pennsylvania opportunity is based in a secure correctional healthcare environment.Certified Nursing Assistants provide essential hands-on patient care while supporting licensed nursing professionals and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.You'll assist individuals with daily living activities, personal hygiene, mobility, and other routine care needs while maintaining patient dignity, safety, and comfort.Correctional healthcare requires CNAs who can remain professional, adaptable, and focused while providing respectful care within a secure environment.What You'll Do• Provide direct patient care under the direction of licensed nursing professionals. • Assist patients with bathing, showers, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. • Provide incontinence care, toileting assistance, and other activities of daily living. • Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation. • Obtain and document vital signs as assigned and within authorized responsibilities. • Observe and report changes in patient condition or behavior to nursing staff. • Assist with meals, hydration, and nutritional support as directed. • Support patient comfort, safety, and infection prevention practices. • Maintain accurate patient care documentation. • Communicate effectively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members. • Follow established clinical, safety, security, and facility procedures. • Provide professional and compassionate care while maintaining patient dignity.Travel EligibilityThis opportunity offers a travel compensation package. Your permanent tax-home address must be more than 50 miles from the assignment facility to meet Heartline's travel-distance policy.
