Senior Financial Analyst

Develop, maintain, and deliver monthly and quarterly analyses, reports, and presentations Ensure information accuracy, identify key points, and develop recommendations Perform ad hoc analyses of financial and operational data for trends and variances Present findings to business unit management Create projections for budgeting and forecasting processes using historical trends and market and business changes Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to management Manage large data sets from disparate sources for data mining, analysis, and research projects Develop complex financial models for what-if analysis, scenario planning, and M&A activities Collaborate with team members and other departments Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience MBA preferred 4–7 years of experience in the field or related area Expert knowledge of finance, economic and accounting principles and practices Expert knowledge of financial markets, financial statements, valuation, and financial data analysis and reporting Ability to understand, manipulate, and solve problems using mathematics on large data sets Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Access Proficiency with Oracle and Hyperion preferred Complex problem-solving skills Ability to organize, plan, prioritize, and accomplish work Excellent written and verbal communication skills Critical-thinking skills Judgment and decision-making skills Solid understanding of standard business concepts, practices, and procedures Core Competencies Demonstrates expert knowledge of finance, economic and accounting principles, and financial data analysis.
