Senior Financial Analyst

Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly analytical Senior Financial Analyst (Contract) to join the Finance team on a contract basis. This would be a 3-6 month engagement, requiring 1 day in office.Note: This opportunity is open to W2 candidates only — C2C arrangements will not be consideredKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain critical sales reporting, including sales flash reports and close-related reporting deliverables.Support month-end close activities, specifically Day 1 and Day 3 sales reporting requirements.Develop, maintain, and enhance complex financial models to support sales planning and business decision-making.Analyze sales performance, product mix, pricing, and ASP (Average Selling Price) trends.Partner with Sales, Finance, FP&A, and other cross-functional teams to deliver actionable financial insights.Support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes.Generate ad hoc financial analyses and business reports as requested by leadership.Extract, manipulate, and validate large datasets from multiple systems.Build and maintain reports and dashboards utilizing Power BI and other business intelligence tools.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.5 years of Financial Analysis, FP&A, Sales Finance, or related experience.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including: Pivot TablesVLOOKUP/XLOOKUPComplex formulasFinancial modelingLarge data set analysisExperience supporting sales reporting and sales planning processes.Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Hyperion, Adaptive Planning, or similar planning and forecasting platforms.Experience working with Power BI in a reporting and analytics capacity.Data warehouse reporting experience.Experience within Life Sciences, Medical Device, or Healthcare industries.
