Role Description The Litigation Paralegal is a full-time role based in Clearwater, FL. This is an in-office position. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing, formatting, and organizing legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence; managing case files; and maintaining calendars and deadlines. The role involves conducting basic legal and factual research, assisting with discovery, organizing exhibits, and supporting attorneys in court and administrative proceedings. The Litigation Paralegal will also handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and client communication, ensuring efficient case management and consistent follow-up. Collaboration with attorneys and other staff is essential to support high-quality legal services for local government clients. Qualifications Strong foundation in litigation practice; familiarity with local government is preferred. Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, formatting, and reviewing pleadings, motions, and correspondence. Excellent Communication skills for interacting with clients, attorneys, court personnel, and public agencies. Experience in Administrative Assistance and Legal Assistant duties, including case file management, scheduling, and deadline tracking. Preferred education: Paralegal certificate or relevant coursework; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously. Comfort with Clio and Office365, document management systems, and standard office applications.
