Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to support a Property Manager or Portfolio Manager in managing a portfolio of properties. The ideal candidate will have experience in property management and a solid understanding of real estate operations. The Assistant Property Manager will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation, financial performance, and overall success of our properties while maintaining high standards of tenant satisfaction. They will contribute to fostering a culture of tenant hospitality within our team. Key Responsibilities Tenant Relations: Cultivate positive tenant relationships through proactive communication, conflict resolution, and superior customer service. Property Operations: Support day-to-day operations to ensure maintenance, security, and cleanliness standards are consistently met. Lease Administration: Manage lease agreements, including negotiation, renewal, and enforcement of lease terms. Financial Management: Oversee property budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-control measures. Team Leadership: Support property management team members and partner/vendor teams, participate in hiring as needed, assist in hospitality and operational training, and contribute to performance management. Vendor Management: Assist Portfolio Manager or Property Manager in overseeing vendors and contractors, ensuring alignment with our commitment to tenant hospitality. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure properties comply with local, state, and federal regulations; implement effective risk management protocols. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in real estate, facilities management, business administration, or related field (preferred). 3+ years of experience in property management, demonstrating strong team management and client satisfaction. Working knowledge of real estate and leasing practices. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze financial statements, budgets, and operating expenses. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with property management software and reporting systems (e.g., Yardi, Building Engines, PowerBI) preferred.
