Our client is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist in Union County, starting $85/hour. Summary of Client's Description of This Opportunity Assess and treat people who have communication disorders. Evaluate levels of speech, language, or swallowing difficulty. Identify clients' goals for treatment. Create and carry out an individualized treatment plan that addresses specific functional needs. Teach clients how to make sounds, improve their voices, and maintain fluency. Help clients improve vocabulary and sentence structure. Work with clients to develop and strengthen the muscles used to swallow. Counsel clients and their families on how to cope with communication and swallowing disorders. Client's Required Experience & Education Minimum of a Master's Degree. Minimum of two (2) years experience in the Child Study field. NJ State Certifications. Experience treating young adult populations. Ability to complete and pass background checks prior to starting. School-based experience with Administrative Codes, Rules and Regulations. Experience with Time Management, Deadlines, Diverse School Settings. Familiar with evaluations, therapy, and case management. Must be willing to obtain register/archive fingerprints under Delta‑T Group codes.
