Title: RN - Mother Baby

Location: Neptune, NJ

Type: Contract | 13 Weeks (With high possibility of extension or permanent placement)

Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 3 x 12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM | 36 Hours/Week

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN - Mother Baby for an exciting Travel or Local job in Neptune, NJ.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care
• Plan, implement, and document individualized nursing care plans
• Perform comprehensive assessments and identify patient care priorities
• Deliver therapeutic nursing interventions in postpartum and newborn care
• Coordinate and manage care for assigned patients
• Document care accurately according to standards and patient acuity
• Advocate for evidence-based nursing practices
• Support patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required
• Active New Jersey RN License or Compact RN License required
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification required
• Minimum 3+ years of Mother Baby experience required
• Strong experience in postpartum nursing required
• Strong knowledge of newborn care
• Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and patient care skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant Mother Baby experience preferred
• Extensive postpartum nursing experience preferred
